TheĀ IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology Letters (MWTL) (formerly IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (MWCL)) is published monthly with the purpose of providing short papers (up to 4 pages; 3 pages of text plus up to 1 page of references) of original and significant contributions relevant to all aspects of microwave/millimeter-wave technology, with emphasis on devices, components, circuits, guided wave structures, systems and applications covering the frequency spectrum from microwave and beyond, including submillimeter-waves and infrared.
The MWTL is the preeminent publication of short papers concerning RF and microwave technology, with an acceptance rate of 25%. The median publishing time from submission to publication is 16 weeks.
The Letters are available to digital subscribers through IEEE Xplore.
Authors interested in submitting a manuscript for publication in MWTL should first read the Information for Authors page for the Letters. MWTL is now accepting submissions of up to four pages (3 pages of text plus up to 1 page of references).
IEEE supports the publication of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) author names in the native language alongside the English versions of the names in the author list of an article. For more information, please click here.
THE TATSUO ITOH AWARD
The Tatsou Itoh Award is given annually and recognizes the author(s) of the best paper published in the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology Letters in the previous calendar year. Previous Tatsuo Itoh Award recipients are listed on the Past Awardees pageĀ under Tatsuo Itoh Award.
