The IEEE Journal on Multiscale and Multiphysics Computational Techniques (IEEE J-MMCT) will publish a Special Section devoted to Industry Applications in the field of Computational Electromagnetics. Authors of all papers on industry applications relevant to the topics of interest of J-MMCT are invited to submit their paper(s) to the Special Section. Topics include (but are not limited to) computational science and engineering for electromagnetics, optics, thermal/EM effects, circuits and devices, materials and tissues, emerging topics in multiscale and multiphysics phenomena related to CEM along with problems that include coupled effects.
Industry applications papers covering new and challenging problems, and the use of CEM tools for solving them, are as welcome as the papers covering new algorithmic and theoretical developments of CEM methods.
The submission is accomplished through the ScholarOne Manuscript Central website (https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jmmct-ieee), in exactly the same way as any other regular IEEE J-MMCT submission.
When you prepare your manuscript you should consult the Instructions for Authors (https://ieee-jmmct.org/information-for-authors/) and follow the IEEE Transactions Word or LaTex Templates available there. Papers not following these templates cannot be accepted into the peer review process.
Please be aware that though your contribution should be prepared as any other regular IEEE J-MMCT paper, it will be evaluated via the peer-review process aware of the specifics and limitations imposed on publishing contributions from the industry. The quality of your contribution must meet the level required for a publication at the IEEE J-MMCT.
In the unlikely event that the Special Section does not have enough accepted papers, it will be canceled, and its accepted papers will be scheduled for publication in subsequent regular issues of the IEEE J-MMCT.
Other submission instructions:
(1) In the pull-down menu for “Manuscript Type”, please select “Special Section on Industry Applications of Computational Electromagnetics”.
(2) The following note should be added to the footnote on the first page of the paper: “This paper is an invited paper for the Special Section of the IEEE J-MMCT on Industry Applications of Computational Electromagnetics.”
The due date for the paper submission is October 1st, 2022 (11:59 pm EDT).
