Why Get Bored? Let's Make Something!

January 10, 2017

MTTS SIGHT has been partnering and making an impact in various events in different parts of Asia and Latin America. With good progress on different fronts, the expectation of bringing sustainable models for humanitarian activities become very important. With this quest, we worked on a concept of "Makeathon" - the technical marathons, which provided technical solutions to humanitarian challenges. The concept can be summarized in simple words as bringing in the bunch of engineers, locking them in a big room with tools and providing them a problem statement which they have to solve in 72 hours.

Ana Belen, Winner of Young Engineer Prize, EuMIC 2016

December 5, 2016

“At the beginning, it was not easy to develop those amplifiers “, says Ms Belén. “Potential parasitic and instabilities that occur in this frequency range makes this a challenging field to work in. Furthermore, model inaccuracies make it even more daunting.”

She demonstrated the first ever stacked or series configuration topology achieved at 280 GHz.  Read more on her experiences at EuMIC 2016 and the other opportunites that she got from it...

A sneak peek into LAMC 2016 - MTTS First Conference in Latin America
