NEW VIDEO: "Understanding the Process of Writing Papers for MTT Publications"

Organizer & Presenter: George E. Ponchak, Editor, IEEE Trans. on Microwave Theory and Techniques (2010-2013) Editor, IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (2006-2009)

Abstract: This presentation will cover the steps that an author should take to increase the acceptance rate of their papers in journals and conference. It will cover the reasons most papers are rejected and how an author should organize their paper to avoid those reasons. Lastly, it will present what steps you should take if your paper is rejected to get it published in the same journal or in a different journal.

Table of Contents for recent MTT publications

The MTT-S Book Series sponsored by the MTT Society and co-published by IEEE and John Wiley is the leading series on microwave and wireless component technology.

Digital Products

The Society has extensive Digital Products including Multimedia Products. All this has been made possible by volunteers, authors, and readers like you.

The MTT-S e-Newsletter is published monthly as a service to members of the IEEE MTT-Society.  The newsletter includes announcements of upcoming microwave events and deadlines for nominations, applications and calls for papers.

Publications Committee

The Microwave Prize

recognizes the author(s) of the paper, published in any official IEEE publication during the prior calendar year but historically selected from the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, that is judged to be the most significant contribution in the field of interest of the MTT Society. (Past Award Recipients)

Terahertz Best Paper Award

The Terahertz Best Paper award is given annually to the authors of an article that has appeared in the IEEE Transactions on Terahertz Science and Technology during the prior calendar year.

(Past Award Recipients)

The Tatsou Itoh Award

is given annually to the best paper published in the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters in the previous calender year. (Past Award Recipients)

Microwave Magazine Best Paper Award

recognizes the peer-reviewed technical feature from the prior calendar year that is judged to provide a clear overview of the state of the art in a given area of the MTT Society’s field of interest.  (Past Award Recipients)
