Events & Conferences
The Microwave Theory and Techniques Society annually, financially and/or technically, sponsors or co-sponsors approximately 45 national and international symposia, conferences, and workshops of interest to MTT-S membership.
The Society's premier conference, the International Microwave Symposium (IMS), for 2010 was held in Anaheim, CA on May 23-28, 2010. The Conference features a large trade show as well as a wide variety of technical papers and workshops. Co-located with the IMS are the annual ARFTG Symposium and RFIC Symposium. For the first time, IEEE.tv provided live and recorded coverage of IMS2010 events. The IEEE.tv IMS2010 Event Showcase can be viewed here. A Sights and Sounds video of IMS2010 can be viewed here. The IMS Plenary Session featured Mr. Zachary Lemnios, CTO of the Department of Defence, who described the need for collaboration between industry, academia and the government to achieve engineering excellence. IEEE.tv provided live streaming coverage during the Plenary Session; the recorded video can be viewed here.
