IEEE Awards serve several purposes:
  1. They are an expression of recognition for outstanding contributions to the art and science of electrical and electronics engineering,
  2. They are an incentive to youth to emulate excellence, and
  3. They are a personalized recognition of the achievements of the profession and its members to the public

The MTT Society supports these purposes both at the Institute and Society level. We encourage you to explore the details of Institute and MTT-S Awards, including award description, eligibility, and nomination procedures, and to become part of the awards and recognition process.

The grade of Fellow is one of unusual professional distinction conferred by the IEEE Board of Directors upon a person of extraordinary qualifications and experience. We are pleased to introduce MTT members of the IEEE Class of 2002 Fellows, and encourage you to become familiar with the steps to become a Fellow  and participate in the Fellow election process.

MTT’s commitment to opportunities for excellence in education is described in our Undergraduate Scholarships and Graduate Fellowship sites.

If you have any questions or comments about the MTT-S or IEEE Awards and recognition process, please contact the MTT-S Awards Chairman, Ed Rezek.
