Allen W. Glisson received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Mississippi, in 1973, 1975, and 1978, respectively. In 1978, he joined the faculty of the University of Mississippi, where he is currently Professor of Electrical Engineering. He was selected as the Outstanding Engineering Faculty Member in 1986 and again in 1996. He is a member of Commission B of URSI and a member of the Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society. Dr. Glisson has received a best paper award from the SUMMA Foundation and twice received a citation for excellence in refereeing from the American Geophysical Union. He has served as an Associate Editor for Radio Science, as the secretary of Commission B of the U.S. National Committee of URSI, and as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the ACES Journal. Since 1984, he has served as the Associate Editor for Book Reviews and Abstracts for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine. He is currently a member of the IEEE APS Administrative Committee and IEEE Press Liaison Committee, serves on the ACES Board of Directors, and is the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation. |
